Genshin Impact 4.6; House Of The Hearth Awakens!

The Genshin Impact 4.6 Special Program officially aired on April 12th. Hosted by Sarah Miller-Crews (Voice of Lumine), the 4.6 Special Program revealed new content set to arrive on April 24th. The new update will come with new Story Quests, Events, and even returning Wish Banners. With so much to cover, we at Geek News Now will share with you, our fellow viewers, all there is to come. With that out of the way, let’s get started.

Genshin Impact; Family Matters

After saving Fontaine from the dreaded Primordial Sea, all seems to have finally calmed down in the country of Fontaine. Furthermore, Arlecchino approached Neuvillette, stating her business with Fontaine is over. Meanwhile, the Hearth Siblings are now given a new task by their Father. Every now and then, the House of the Hearth hosts an event called ‘Barbeques’. During such events the members of the house hunt for food, enter competitions and cooperate on missions together. Lyney, Lynette and Freminet are tasked with tracking down a person their Father has her eyes on. However, Freminet seems to be hiding something- or someone- causing a rift between him and his siblings.

Once an order is given by Father, those under her must complete it at all costs. A house divided, the Traveler has no choice but to step in before another life is lost. Can the Traveler end this family brawl, and repair what has yet to be broken? And just who is this person Arlecchino is after? Find out when Two Worlds Aflame: The Crimson Night Fades releases April 24th.

And now, let’s discuss the next exciting feature: Banner Runs!

Genshin Impact: Harbingers on the (Re)Run

After the launch of Genshin Impact Version 4.6, the 4th Fatui Harbinger Arlecchino- code named The Knave- will have her first Banner run alongside Five-Star Pyro Archer Lyney. She will be a Five-Star Pyro Polearm-wielder, with a rather unique yet familiar skillset. Her Elemental Skill Bond of Life marks the active character’s HP bar with a red border. In this state, they can not (and will not) regain health until the bar is used up with attacks. If Arlecchino is on the field, her attacks will be encased with Pyro and increase, while the Bond of Life will decrease. Additionally, targets will be marked with a Blood-Debt Directive.

Her Elemental Burst, on the other hand, is what can get you out of a tight spot. Using her Burst Balemoon Rising, any opponent marked with a Blood-Debt Directive will be hit with residual Pyro Damage, while Arlecchino will recover any lost health. The more opponents there are, the greater the health recovery.

Arlecchino and Lyney will their have Banner runs during Phase 1 of Version 4.6. Afterward, ex-Harbinger The Wanderer and Bubu Pharmacy Director Baizhu will have their Banner reruns during Phase 2. So many Fatui in one go, hope you got your Primogems ready!

And now, let’s discuss the two new bosses that will be available to fight after Version 4.6!

A Harbingers Reckoning, A Marble-ous Symphony!

After completing the Genshin Impact 4.6 main story quest, Arlecchino will be available for combat in the Overworld. During her first phase, she will mark you with a Blood-Debt Directive. This will cause all of her attacks to deal double damage. However, should you clear this Debt, all of your charged attacks will deal double damage for a certain period of time. During her second phase, she will transform into her Harbinger form. This will allow her to dish out AOE attacks in a rapid manor. Hope your ready, Travelers. The Knave awaits.

The second boss resides within the ruins of the Kingdom of Remuria. Titled ‘The Statue of Marble and Brass’, this Centaur-shaped being armed with a Violin-like weapon awaits those challenging His Majesty. With the power of Pyro, it will conduct a musical symphony whilst on the move, and launch Pyro-laced notes at the player. Once finished, it will slash the flames toward you and deal Pyro Damage.

With two powerful foes to take on, I’m looking forward to seeing how the battles unfold. And now finally, let’s discuss the pièce de résistance: Special Events!

Awesome Tours, Seekers Galore!

Arataki Itto to appear in music festival. Image from sportskeeda.com

Ever wondered what Arataki Itto has been up to these days since we last saw him during the Beetle Brawl Event? Well, wonder no more, Traveler! It would seem that after some thinking (rare on his part), Itto has teamed up with none other than the great Dvorak! After his appearance in Version 3.4’s Lantern Rite, he has since been travelling the world. Now arriving to Inazuma, Arataki Itto has tagged along wanting in on the musical action. With Itto’s rock-and-roll skills and Dvorak’s music combined, nothing can get in the way of their fun!

Participate in this event to not only invite 4-Star Geo General Gorou to your roster, but also receive the musical instrument Nightwind Horn.

New Windtrace to arrive in 4.6. Image from gamewith.net

And of course, how can we forget the popular Prop Hunt event, Windtrace. Although, this game will run a lot differently now! In prior Windtrace events, it was a classic game of seeking Rebels using special tools, while those Rebels hid as objects across various maps. Now, in the new Windtrace game, Rebels will be tasked with repairing Six Signaling Devices. These devices prevent Rebels from hiding as props. Therefore, it is imperative that these devices be repaired to allow victory. Of course, if your team manages to repair four devices, you instantly win the game.

However, if you are caught by the Hunter, you will be sent to a Surveillance Zone. After a few seconds, you will be released but if you are caught twice you will be removed from the match. You can still collect the rewards if you stay on standby, though.

You Got A Frenemy

For our next Genshin Impact 4.6 event, the Traveler and Paimon received a rather strange commission. Ranjit, a traveling chef from Natlan is asking for assistance in befriending dangerous creatures around the world. Ranging from the Jadebloom Terrorshroom to a Pyro Regisvine, Ranjit wants to use them for various ingredients for unique dishes. Negotiation Strategies during this event can be used to ensure victory over these tough Bosses.

And that’s just about everything arriving in Genshin Impact Version 4.6. But you tell us what you’re excited for in the comments down below. Also, be sure to check out our Facebook page, as we keep our fellow viewers up-to-date on the latest happenings.

Good luck on your pulls and events, Travelers! And as always, Stay Geeky!
