Genshin Impact 3.8 Special Program aired on June 30th. Zach Aguilar (Aether), Poonam Basu (Klee), Suzie Yeung (Eula), and Risa Mei (Kokomi) hosted the special program, showcasing an exciting summer event! Furthermore, special guest Rachel Kimsey (Alice/Klee’s Mom) had the honor to narrate a cute segment of the program. Let’s see what awaits us this summer, and all the exciting events to partake in!

Legend foretells of a secluded location in Sumeru’s desert that no ordinary traveler can find. Hidden within the scorching domain lies a place known as Bottleland! The story speaks of a Little Mage who once attempted to find Bottleland all on her own, only for her to get hopelessly lost. There was also a Knight who previously found Bottleland, but escaped it clutches vowing to never return. Meanwhile, an Adventurer began his own quest to find the sacred place with help from a wary Guide.
As Travelers seek out this hidden location, you’ll also reunite with Klee, Kokomi, Eula, and Collei. They, too, have heard of these mysterious tales and now seek the hidden wonderland! But, what sort of place is Bottleland? And what secrets will it hold for travelers seeking it out? Find out as we explore The Secret Summer Paradise!
Welcome to Bottleland!

With the arrival of 3.8, many new attractions and events will also be taking place within Bottleland. Throughout the realm, a unique item called Bottleland Vouchers will be scattered in various locations. But don’t worry, there’ll be easy to find once you get started! As for special events, the area will feature two main attractions:
- Preprint Projection: Solve a 2-D puzzle environment by moving 3-D objects reflected between the two worlds.
- Choo-Choo Cart: A fun way to navigate Bottleland. Be sure to collect the prizes during the ride!
As for main events, this new world will come with a variety of Mini-games for challengers to enjoy:
- Spino Blaster: Use an auto-refill cannon to pop various balloons that’ll appear within a certain amount of time. Think Mario Sunshine Bowser JR balloons without the hassle of fast movements.
- Sojourns of the Barking Fox: Similar to The Recollectors Path, Travelers will control a floating fox balloon in order to collect points through rings. Watch out for various obstacles along the way!
- Dance of Flashing Thought: Similar to Hyakunin Ikki, Travelers will face fierce opponents in a theatre-styled duel. Collect enough points, and you’ll earn buffs to eliminate opponents faster!
- Big-Bang Finchball: A Shuffleboard-like Mini-game where Travelers will push Finchballs into specific score zones to win. Score high and win big!
Finally, in addition to the exciting Mini-games, Travelers who successfully complete the challenges will also be rewarded with a new outfit for Kaeya, and a chance to invite Sumeru Astrologist Layla!
Vengeance Returns! Lies Unfold!

Finally, with the new update now available, comes the new round of Banners! And surprisingly, Eula makes her triumphant return! After two years of not having a single rerun (A record according to Genshin players) since version 2.3 in November 2021, Eula finally makes a Rerun alongside the Favonious Spark Knight Klee! Eula and Klee will be available for the first half of 3.8.
Afterward, Watatsumi Island ruler Sangonomiya Kokomi and Former Fatui Wanderer will be available for the second half later this month. With the addition of Razor, Thoma, and Mika, 3.8 is looking to be very exciting for those wanting to start wishing on banners!
