Clone Force 99 returns to Disney+ for season 2 of The Bad Batch. There will be more dangerous missions, treasures, and responsibilities for them in the Galaxy. They must try to find their freedom in the shadows of the Empire. Unfortunately for Clone Force 99, they are no longer financed by the Republic, and that freedom is expensive.
Season 2 of The Bad Batch kicks off with two episodes; both are over twenty minutes long, so fans can look forward to an exciting introduction to where they are after the destruction of Kamino. Not only has Omega gotten a bit older, but her skills have improved. She’s really growing into one of the clones as she continues to boast her brains and bronze.
The Bad Batch Season 2
The score, cuts, dialogue, ships, and everything about season 2 in these first episodes have shown how well-versed Filoni is with George Lucas’ Star Wars. This continuation of The Clone Wars looks fantastic with the updated animation and technology. As it expands on Palpatine’s mission of absolute control, we get insight into all the inner workings that made it possible.
Season one of the series showed us the first stages; we saw planets lose their liberty, the Empire overthrow leaders, and both violent and nonviolent ways Palpatine seized Galactic control. Season 2 looks to explore more of the Empire’s evil doings as the bad batch tries their best to survive.
From familiar faces to new ones, season 2 of The Bad Batch is the perfect way to start 2023. The first two episodes were well-written and should leave fans excited for the next episodes to come. A total of 16 episodes that will run weekly until the end of March, fans can expect laughs, thrills, and some dark turns.
