The Book of Boba Fett trailer is here!

Ahoy geeks, Jimmie here!

I woke up to start my work for the day on my day job, and saw this ray of hope pop up! The Book of Boba Fett trailer is here!

Needless to say I am jazzed about this, but why Disney do you like to delay things so far out! Damn you Mickey Mouse! *shakes fist in the air* While this highly anticipated show was expected in 2021, the powers that be in their infinite wisdom, decided it would be awesome to set the release on Disney+ to December 29, 2021. Sure, it technically is 2021 still, but crap are they pushing that just a bit.

Wait, you did not know this was coming out? Well, let’s set the way back machine to season 2 of the Mandalorian. At the end of the final episode for that season we see our favorite bounty hunter blast on into what was left of Jabba’s palace with a quite rotund Bib Fortuna sitting in charge. How he escaped an exploding sail barge is beyond me. After a brief conversation Boba let everyone know he was taking the reins with a little pew-pew from a blaster with the closing text saying the Book of Boba Fett was on the way.

Will we see more class trilogy characters show up? Who knows at this point as there has not been alot of detail leaked out, but one thing is for certain, the show is in good hands with Jon Favreau as one of the executive producers along with Dave Filoni.

This is going to be great! Star Wars has a great underworld and opportunities for epic storytelling with all the unique characters. One of the reasons Tales from Jabbas Palace is my favorite Star Wars novel. I’m going to have to go back and rewatch Mandalorian though…it’s been awhile!
