Great Rao! “Zack Snyder’s Justice League” Teases A Grim Time Ahead!

Need more Superman and Darkseid footage set to a down and dour scenario? Zack Snyder’s Justice League (2021) trailer supplies fans with just a little bit more! It’s got action; it’s also got a sad, down feel to it…

This latest trailer is second after a trailer released during the DC FanDome in August. The first trailer, subsequently released to YouTube, was pulled after a music rights issue. Oddly enough, the music used in this new trailer is the same as in the first: a sad-sounding rendition of “Hallelujah”.

Snyder promised a new look at the film would be revealed on Justice League‘s three-year anniversary since its release in theaters. In this new trailer, a lot of what we see is about the same as that first trailer; footage of the new story and dark times ahead for the newly-forming Justice League. The only change really is a *liiiittle* bit more footage of Superman (exiting the Kryptonian ship) and Darkseid being dark and ominous.

So… What? I mean I’m a fan of DC Comics, I want to see this project and all, and like many fans I wanted to see a tease of new footage; and all we get is two tiny lil’ *tidbits* of barely anything to see and a whole load of stuff we’ve already seen?? Unless I’ve missed something and there was other new footage; but if there was, it wasn’t very significant stuff, or I think it would’ve been noticeable.

The trailer does still suggest a darker tone for the film than what we got with director Joss Whedon’s theatrical version. I do want to see how this movie is done, but I’d also be first to admit that I am beyond tired of all the dark DC movies; especially regarding Superman who should be treated in a light tone.

One thing this trailer does not offer, however, is a release date for Justice League. The end merely says “2021,” something fans have known since the original announcement. There were once reports that HBO Max was aiming for early-to-mid-2021, but nothing has been confirmed just yet. With Snyder working on reshoots for his cut, there’s a chance Justice League could get pushed to later in the year. Nevertheless, fans can trust Snyder to update them as soon as there’s something to share, and in the meantime, they can pore over the above trailer to keep their enthusiasm high.

Shoot… I’ll watch Zack Snyder’s Justice League; we’ll *all* probably give it a look and see how good or bad it is. Will you see it? Comment below! Read the Screenrant.com article! Also, subscribe to Geek News Now and give it a like on its Facebook page!
