Disney+ has been announcing new details surrounding the upcoming season of “The Mandalorian.” From Boba Fett, played by Temuera Morrison, who played Jango Fett in Episode II, to Ahsoka Tano, played by Rosario Dawson (as reported by Variety) the cast is looking to add some big names to keep the momentum of Season One. I, like others, have my dream cast for the seasons to come.
Firstly, I would LOVE to see… Luke Skywalker! I would love for Sebastian Stan (Winter Soldier) to join the cast as the young Jedi Master. Stan and Mark Hamill look so much alike and the age range works! Hamill has even recognized the similarity between himself and Stan. When I was searching for actors that favored Hamill, the only one to stand out was Stan. If it gets the stamp of approval from Hamill then I don’t see any reason as to why it should not happen. Stan would be a great pick for a Luke as only five years has passed since “Return of the Jedi.”

Secondly, I want to see Mara Jade. I’d like to see her since the sequels cut her out of the picture and made her legend I’d love to see her be brought back in the canon story. I would love to see Jennifer Lawrence as Jade. She’s been in action movies such as the Hunger Games and X-Men. As you can see from the image Mara is a tough chick! J-Law is known to play characters that are just as tough if not more so.

Lastly, I would love to see Maz Kanata. I know many don’t like the sequels and would hate a link to it in “The Mandalorian” but I LOVED Maz Kanata. I would like to see how she came to have possession of Luke’s saber. Maz is smart. She knows the force and has said as much to Rey. If the force so surrounds her as she says then she should be able to feel the presence of “The Child.” She owns an Outer Rim bar on Takodana. Mando is in the Outer Rim trying to find the family of baby Yoda. She has said “If you live long enough, you see the same eyes in different people.” She may have seen Mando and Baby Yoda and saw where their fates were destined through their eyes. I definitely hope so!
“The Mandalorian” will return October 2020! I can’t wait to see what is in store!
